Before I begin, let me state that every life matters. The lives of every person that has succumb to COVID is not a number. They were all people. Most were loved by at least one person. But none of them were numbers to be lumped into a statistic just to add spice to the cautionary tale known as “Take the vaccine or die.” And it is for this reason I ask mysel every day “Did they have to die?” I mourn them and all of the future lives that will inevitably be lost due to the mismanagement of this crisis in the United States.
“The CDC doesn’t count every breakthrough case. It stopped counting all breakthrough cases May 1 and now only tallies those that lead to hospitalization or death, a move the agency was criticized for by health experts.” So how can we actually know the rate of infection amongst the vaccinated? The numbers are skewed. In order to actually know the efficacy of the vaccines, we should demand frequent testing of those they are vaccinated. Why don’t they want us to know? Why don’t they keep track?
The government is asking us to trust them. But they are not being transparent. If we are not testing the vaccinated, we can never fully know what their rate of infection is. There’s a reason why they stopped tracking the breakthrough cases. Wouldn’t they want to tell everyone how great the vaccine is? A third, or 33 % of COVID positive cases were asymptomatic. 81 % of symptomatic cases are mild. 16 percent of symptomatic patients have severe symptoms. So why did 1.7 % of the COVID positive cases end in death? Over 613,000 people. I’m literally scratching my head. Is the rate of death overinflated because we don’t know how many people actually contracted COVID?
Over 200,000 people have died in the U.S. due to COVID in 2021. At this rate, there will be just as many COVID deaths in 2021 as there were in 2020. Why did we lockdown the country if this is seemingly inevitable? “Vaccinated people are less likely to spread COVID even if they are COVID positive.” This backwards logic got us to where we are this year. It’s not unvaccinated in people spreading the disease. It’s vaccinated people. They don’t wear masks, they gather in large crowds and they come home to their immunocompromised and unvaccinated family members and spread the virus to them.
A week ago or so, I searched the CDC website for COVID treatments and it said to get the vaccine? I wish I had screenshot the page. I found a page today on the CDC website that listed treatments. It is allegedly from December 2020. So why didn’t it come up in the Google search for so many months? Why don’t people know that there is early effective treatment for COVID? People fear death and don’t go to hospitals when they think they will die. We have to let people know that treatment is available. That they need to go to the doctor after their FIRST symptom presents. Because right now they think they will just die of COVID anyway. This is why people are still dying. Ignorance and fear. We can’t blame Trump for the guidelines and guidance provided by the CDC in 2021. Can we?
